Andriy Lunin restera encore au Real Madrid pendant plusieurs années. Le club madrilène a annoncé la nouvelle prolongation de son gardien ukrainien ce vendredi sur les réseaux sociaux.
Cela met fin aux rumeurs sur l’avenir de Lunin, dont le contrat actuel devait expirer l’été prochain. Cette saison, le joueur de 25 ans jouera le rôle de remplaçant de Thibaut Courtois, mais a néanmoins décidé de signer un contrat à long terme avec le club jusqu’en juin 2030. L’international ukrainien a rejoint le Real Madrid à l’été 2018 pour un transfert d’une valeur de 8,5 millions d’euros. Il a passé trois périodes en prêt à Leganes, Valladolid et Oviedo. Avec les Madrilènes, Lunin a enregistré 48 matchs avec 51 buts encaissés et 16 clean sheets toutes compétitions confondues, et ses trophées avec le club sont au nombre de 10.

Lunin est arrivé au Real Madrid en 2018, à l’âge de 19 ans, et fait partie de l’équipe première depuis 2020. Au cours de sa carrière en défendant le maillot du Real Madrid, il a remporté 10 titres : 2 Ligue des Champions, 1 Mondial des Clubs, 2 Supercoupes d’Europe, 2 Ligues, 1 Copa del Rey et 2 Supercoupes d’Espagne. Lunin est international avec l’Ukraine, équipe avec laquelle il a participé à l’Euro allemand 2024. Et il est candidat pour remporter le Trophée Yashin du meilleur gardien de la saison 2023-2024, durant laquelle ses performances ont été fondamentales pour que le Real Madrid remporte les trois titres : Ligue des Champions, Ligue et Supercoupe d’Espagne», peut-on lire sur le communiqué de presse.
